?Lots of people think that young people are the future of the church.”
Now that is an enlightening statement! Young people, the future of the church… Who’d a thunk it!?!

  2. cancerman says:

If you want to be relevant quit using the word “youngsters”.

A non Christian friend of mine asked “Do you really want people to go to church for gimics?”

  3. Sara says:

Nah, I think the Cybermen would have to be ushers, because that whole EXTERMINATE! thing would get pretty distracting when everyone was trying to listen to the pretty organ music.

Maybe the Daleks could be re-programmed to say something like THANKS BE TO GOD, instead?

Regarding the Dr. Who church service, I’m not sure it’s really geared toward “the youth”, necessarily, unless by “youth” they mean anyone under 60. Dr. Who has been a major phenomenon in the UK for more than 40 years now, and there are fans of all ages.
