Hank Hill visits a Megachurch

Paul sent me this link. You’ve got to see it. “King of the Hill” has got to be one of the smartest shows on TV. Ever.

Wouldn’t you know out-of-touch VJ hasn’t seen it; but I think I’ll have to after watching Hank & his family for 5 minutes or so.
“Lou Ann, I happen to know it’s asinine.”

  2. RevJATB says:

I love the fact that the niece’s name is “Lu Ann Platter” (especially since the show is set in Texas).

  3. v says:

Kool. I almost spelled it “LuAnn”, but then I remembered, “no, that’s a Luby’s spelling…”

  4. RevJATB says:

What a true Luby’s fan! I haven’t had a Lu Ann Platter in a coon’s age. We need to get over to that thar Luby’s in Shreveport soon. (I understand the one in Bossier is a buffet. Eww.)

  5. vr says:

When Mark’s folks were “Snowbirds” in South Texas, they ate at Luby’s twice a day.
And when they came to see us, we could count on dinner there every evening (5 pm sharp). Dad’s fond of the carrot/raisin salad (**hairball-discharging sound**)

  6. Ed says:

This is Ashley’s favortie show – hands down. But we don’t catch that channel anymore with a new VCR/DVD arrangement.

“(Gasp) That’s the way I’ve…TV was meant to be” – Bobby
