Britney Spears, role model for white trash everywhere . . .

Remember when Michael Jackson dangled his child over a bannister? What if Michael had thrown his child as hard as he could at a brick wall? Well, that’s pretty much the effect if you’re in a collision while driving a car with a child in your lap. Britney Spears needs to answer for this. Read all about it on SmockLady’s site.

What disturbs me more about Britney Spears is that she has abandoned her Christian background and turned to Hinduism. She took her three month old baby to a Hindu temple for a blessing. Too bad she did not repent and turn back to the true God instead of a false one. She can’t seem to make up her mind. Before doing the Hindu thing she was into Kabballah which is some form of Judiasm.

Well, I must admit I don’t keep up with Britney enough to know about her religious path, although I do know she grew up in Louisiana, which means she was either Baptist, Roman Catholic, or Pentecostal, only one of which would hold out any hope that she had any kind of catechesis in her younter years, and of course none of them is any guarantee that she had any true “Christian background” to speak of.

I just posted this because I was absolutely appalled by what I saw in the pictures. And I don’t buy what she is saying, that she was “terrified by the paparazzi” and took off as soon as her bodyguard got in the car. The SmockLady showed me a whole series of the photos, and Ms. Spears is yukking it up the whole time. She looks like she’s having a blast: not at all “terrified by the paparazzi”.

Whether she’s raising the child Christian, Hindu, Muslim, or Seven-day Adventurer (to quote Archie Bunker), she needs to have that child in a car seat! Period.

But BTW to call Kabbalah a form of Judaism is, IMO, beging overly kind to Kabbalists. To me that’s a little like calling Voodoo or Santería a form of Roman Catholicism: they share some of the same external trappings and terminology, but that’s about it.

Yes she does look like she is having a blast. She is such a drama queen. She needs to grow up and start taking care of her precious baby. One careless mistake could jeopardize the life of her child.
